3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling
Components of non-rotary character made of various materials are made in C.S.O. spol. s r.o. 3-axis machining with process management by highly experienced experts at the level of programmers, fixers and operators. The newest CAM software versions that are subject to regular upgrade are a matter of course. Two basic philosophies of milling programming and production are trendy:
Three-axis milling
The company management staff carefully follow the trends of high-precision milling, and continuously invest in state-of-the-art tool equipment with the objective to offer the ideal price/quality ratio to the customer. The trend in series production are machines with rotating palletisation tables and extraordinarily quick tool change – i.e. 2.1 seconds/tool, which is the maximally effective solution.
Five-axis milling
Smooth five-axis milling makes it possible to manufacture highly sophisticated shapes with only a single clamping of the semi product. The result is a component with a sophisticated shape with low lateral unevenness and high precision of differently oriented product planes.
The TPV department with its highly professional team assesses the best machining method and searches for the most efficient method to achieve the best quality result within the shortest possible time. Achievement of the highest precision of the holes through the digitally drilled heads in combination with evaluation on the coordinate measuring machine. The maximum rigidity during machining helps the thermal clamping of the tools.
Milling of prototypes
The prototype workshop with cutting-edge equipment offers an opportunity to all industrial partners to collaborate in the production of functional models and prototypes. The workshop is intended mainly for practical implementation of the research and development results. The machines are available to external subjects under market, transparent and non-discriminatory conditions.
